Welcome to Nicole's World Race Site!
Hebrews 12: 1-3
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."
Traveling around the world and ministering for a year was never on my list of things to do, but I've never been more excited to do anything in my life! In October, my life changed drastically as I took a leap of faith and began this journey. I'm traveling with an AMAZING group of 44 people known as the "L Squad," which is made up of 7 smaller teams. My team, REV 217, is my family for the next 11 months; and we will be discovering, learning, teaching, and bringing the Kingdom of God to the Nations together for these next 11 months! I am learning what it really means to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and enjoying the community that comes with it! God has changed things in me that I didn't even know needed changing, and He is still blowing my mind with new revelation about His character and His amazing love for me, YOU, and the NATIONS!
Beginning in October of 2009, I'll be/have been somewhere in the area of:
October: Antigua, Guatamala
November: Ometepe, Nicaragua
December: Phuket, Thailand
January: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
February: ATL Asia: Chiang Rai, Thailand
March: Navrongo/Accra, Ghana
April: ATL Africa: Lome/Agbodrafo, Togo
May: Okpo, Nigeria
June: Tirgu-Mures, Romania
July 1-15: ATL Eastern Europe: Prague, Czech Republic
July 15-30: Ungheni, Moldova
August: Lugansk Oblast, Ukraine
Here's how it works: Each month, the whole squad goes to the same country, but sometimes different cities or villages. Some months are pre-arranged for us, but most months our team is given options to pray about, and then we get to choose which ministry we will serve with. 'ATL' is the World Race catch phrase that stands for 'Ask The Lord' where to go, which means that the teams could be in different Countries within the continent.

This journey is not just about the cool places we get to go. This is about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When our heart's are focused on Jesus, it's amazing how the joy of the Lord becomes as natural as breathing! We are all called to share the Gospel, regardless of where we are. We are called to use the gifts and resources God has given us to bring Him glory and honor and praise! Would you partner with me on my journey? The Lord has called me to go, but I know I cannot complete this task without the help of my brothers and sisters in Christ supporting me. Check out my blog page as I write about my journey!
